Frequently Asked Questions
Got questions? We have answers. If you need more details, feel free to give us a call.
Why is my air conditioner blowing warm air?
Warm air is most commonly caused by a slow refrigerant leak, meaning the system needs a re-gas. It could also indicate a failure of the compressor clutch, a blocked condenser, or a blown fuse/relay. We perform dye-leak testing to isolate the cause.
How often does a car air conditioner need to be re-gassed?
Most vehicle manufacturers recommend servicing and re-gassing the air conditioning system every 2 years to replace lost refrigerant and lubricant oil, keeping the seals from drying out.
Do you handle both R134a and new gas types?
Yes, we are licensed for re-gas services and handle standard R134a systems as well as conversions and system leak diagnostics for commercial and residential vehicles.
